Land Rover Classic has just announced a behind-the-scenes tour of its Solihull workshop, which will give enthusiasts the chance to see the restoration of an early Land Rover model.

Dubbed the Reborn Tour, it provides visitors with exclusive access to the company’s workshop where a Series I Land Rover Defender is currently being restored by an expert team of craftsmen and technicians.

When restoring a Series I model, the team at Land Rover Classic ensures it is built to 1948 factory specification and only genuine parts are used, including the choice of five period color finishes including Light Green, Bronze Green, RAF Blue, Dove Grey and Poppy Red.

Owners of the classic Land Rovers being restored, they’re be able to follow the entire process at the Classic workshop, while, beyond getting an in-depth look at the restoration process, visitors have the opportunity to drive a Land Rover Defender through the company’s off-road tracks accompanied by an instructor.

The Reborn Tour that consists solely of workshop access costs from 29 pounds ($35) per person and from 150 pounds ($185) when combined with the driving experience.
