Suzuki is extending its small capacity lineup for 2017 with four new motorcycles showcased at the Esposizione Mondiale Del Motociclismo in Milano.

It was just last month that the Japanese manufacturer presented its new GSX-R1000 flagship at Intermot, though now, with models such as the new V-Storm 250, GSX-S125, GSX250R and the Burgman 400 showing up in Milano, Suzuki have taken their total number of new models for the year up to 12.

Set to hit UK showrooms in the summer, the new V-Storm 250 features a redesigned version of Suzuki’s 248cc parallel twin engine, packing 25 PS at 8,000 rpm and 23.4 Nm (17.2 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm.

It comes with a reverse-lit LCD instrument panel and an integrated luggage system – though an additional top box is available from Suzuki’s accessory range. Its styling is similar to that of its larger siblings, while its beak design and yellow color option paying homage to the iconic DR-Z Dakar racer as well as the current RM-Z motocross range.

The GSX250R on the other hand was built specifically to offer sharp, sporty looks as well as nimble performance and solid ergonomics. On the road, it’s supposed to perform best in the low to mid-range where riders can enjoy the same amount of power and torque found in the V-Storm 250. It will be available sooner than the V-Storm, somewhere around late spring 2017.

Following the launch of the all-new GSX-R125 at Intermot, Suzuki is now expanding their 125 market with its summer-bound naked GSX-S125. It boasts class-leading power-to-weight ratio as well as class-leading acceleration, and it’s all because of its high-performance 125cc engine and 133 kg (293 lbs) kerb weight – making it the lightest in its class according to Suzuki. Similar to the rest of the GSX-R family, the GSX-S125 comes with rider information displayed on a full LCD dash, as well as a full LED headlight and LED position lights.

Last but not least is the Burgman 400, set to appear in dealerships late in the spring. This 2017 model gets a comprehensive restyling with sharp LED headlights and integrated LED position lights, just like the GSX-S125. There’s also a new upswept windscreen design for better weather protection, a new stepped seat (20 mm thicker), new grab rails and a fresh rear design adding to the slimmer, sharper appearance.

The maxi-scooter also features a lighter ABS unit, increased frame rigidity, a new 15″ front wheel, 12V DC outlet and 42 liters of under-seat storage.
