Skoda’s new product offensive will see the addition of more SUVs, to keep up with the increased demand in worldwide markets, but what if they tried to do a minivan?

Well, frankly, this is very unlikely to happen, considering that the MPV segment is slowly dying in Europe and elsewhere,  but TheophilusChin decided to give it a try anyway, by choosing the Volkswagen Touran as a donor car, and dressing it as a Skoda.

It’s set apart from its German cousin through a front end that brings it closer in terms of design to the rest of the Skoda lineup, maintaining the VW’s spacious interior, with seating for up to seven, and all the toys required to place it against the likes of the Ford C-Max.

Riding on the MQB platform would open up the possibility of adopting numerous engines, mated to a manual or a double-clutch automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive could be part of the package. But like we said, Skoda’s focus these days is clearly on SUVs and crossovers, not on minivans.
