After parading it at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, Skoda is now getting ready to launch the new Karoq in various markets, including the United Kingdom, where it goes on sale on October 3rd.

Prices start at £20,865 ($28,196) for the basic SE model, when powered by the 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine, married to a manual gearbox. Power output is rated at 115PS (113hp).

Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, LED taillights, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, DAB radio, Bluetooth, electric and heated door mirrors, driver fatigue sensor, front assist, and pedestrian monitor.

The mid-range SE L grade can be had from £23,165 ($31,304), and it adds 18-inch wheels, full LED headlights with adaptive front light system, reversing camera, keyless entry and start/stop, sat-nav with 8-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, Alcanara upholstery, and color multifunction trip computer.

Celebrating the launch of the new Skoda Karoq is the range-topping Edition trim, which is priced from £27,110 ($36,635). This version comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint, panoramic sunroof, 9.2-inch display, gesture control, electrically operated boot, LED ambient lighting, Lane Assist, Blind Spot Detection with Rear Traffic Alert, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Customers can choose between four engine options – two petrol and two diesel units that make between 115PS (113hp) and 150PS (148hp). All models can be had with an optional 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, while four-wheel drive is reserved to the most powerful diesel – the 2.0 TDI with 150PS (148hp).
