Who says that roaming the desert in search of gasoline and a will to live should point a man towards nothing but stripped down muscle cars and off-roaders?

Just because you’re building something “bonkers” doesn’t mean you can’t do it with style, after all, someone did build a time machine out of a DeLorean, right?

So what makes this Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II special? Well, builder Corbin Goodwin thought that adding an intercooled turbocharger to the stock V8 engine engine would be a good start. The car is allegedly putting down around 400 HP.

Equally interesting, if not more so, is the addition of a manual transmission borrowed from a Ford Super Duty pickup truck, where the shift lever genuinely looks like something from Mad Max. Other mods include the performance-oriented suspension and the trunk-mounted radiator with external plumbing.

This may not be the prettiest Rolls-Royce out there, but it sure looks like something you don’t want to mess with in any way.

According to Matt Farah, who got to drive it on his favorite canyon roads, the so-called “Trolls Royce” drives exceptionally well, which came as a huge surprise to him.
