The current Mercedes-AMG GT has its roots deeply embedded into the SLS AMG and SLR McLaren, but the truth is that these two belonged in a different league.

Billed as true supercars and having to face Ferrari and Lamborghini in a highly competitive segment, the SLS AMG and SLR McLaren continue to be sought after, which is why every once in a while we present you with an example that is either up for grabs or pixel-injected in a fresh rendering.

Posted by RainPrisk, this unique interpretation of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren has gotten a Japanese touch, be it Liberty Walk-inspired or going for the traditional Bosozoku look, with extremely wide fenders, large front and rear bumpers and extended side skirts. Add the smoked-headlights into the picture, along with the massive rims wrapped in new rubber, and it turns into one of those ‘love it or leave it’ cases.

However, throw the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 into the picture, with its ability to generate 626 PS (617 HP) and 780 Nm (580 lb-ft) of torque, and push it to the rear wheels through a five-speed transmission, and the balance would eventually turn in favor of the German supercar.
