An Active Safety Brake system has been added to the Flair versions of the new Citroen C3 Aircross, which costs upwards of £16,990.

The C3 Aircross range kicks off from just £13,995 in the UK, which lands you the entry-level Touch model, in PureTech 82 manual trim.

With Active Safety Brake on guard, the risk of collision by braking is diminished as the system can bring the car to a halt if the driver doesn’t react in time.

Utilizing a multi-purpose camera at the top of the windshield, the system brakes automatically when a risk of collision is detected, from 3 mph (5 km/h) to 52 mph (83 km/h).

In total, this car features no fewer than 12 driver assistance and safety systems, as well as four connectivity systems. Overall safety tech includes a color head-up display, the rear-view camera, Park Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Intelligent Beam headlights and more.

Otherwise, the C3 Aircross continues to offer high levels of customization, with 90 available exterior combinations and five interior design schemes on tap.
