The 2018 Audi RS4 Avant is just that, a high-powered versatile wagon that ticks just about any box you might think of and, according to Queen B, it’s something she would definitely enjoy living with on a daily basis.
One of the things she appreciates the most in all Audis is interior quality, and since the RS4 is the flagship version of the A4 range, it’s also got the best trim. The flat bottom steering wheel, sports seats, the contrast stitching, plus all the tech make for a really special cabin.
On the road, the 2018 RS4 is a lot of fun to drive, obviously. The reviewer characterized the grip as being “insane”, and we can certainly understand what she means. The car comes with a Quattro all-wheel drive system that can send up to 60% of power to the rear axle and even features a rear sport differential.
Thanks to its twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 450 PS (444 HP) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, the RS4 can sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds. Go for the optional RS Dynamic Package and the top speed will increase from an electronically-limited 250 km/h (155 mph) to 280 km/h (174 mph).
And yet, if you want to, you can just cruise around calmly and comfortably with the RS4, which is what you expect from a family car, even one that boasts this level of performance.
