As an official NCAA partner, Buick will now be offering March Madness fans the chance to follow their teams while on the go, with select owners receiving a free month of 4G LTE Wi-Fi, enabled by AT&T.

Buick has also created an exclusive NCAA Tournament app, giving fans/drivers the chance to listen to the games’ live audio feeds. The new app will be available on Buick models that feature the Shop icon on their infotainment system.

“Since launching the unlimited data plan option during March Madness last year, we’ve seen monthly data usage increase more than 150 percent in our vehicles,” stated Phil Brook, marketing VP for Buick and GMC. “Buick owners live an active lifestyle and value staying connected. By offering a free month of unlimited in-vehicle Wi-Fi data to eligible customers during March Madness, we’re helping ensure fans don’t miss out on any of the excitement.”

The free unlimited data offer applies only to owners in the U.S. who have a vehicle equipped with OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and currently do not have an active data plan. Hoop fans interested in signing up can click here and enter their e-mail and VIN numbers between March 12-16.

By signing up for the full 30 days, customers can also watch the Division I women and men’s basketball championship games, scheduled for April 1st and 2nd, respectively.

Aside from the new NCAA Tournament app, Buick vehicles with Shop also come with entertainment, news and music apps.
