Last we heard about Rimac’s encore to the original Concept_One, we were contemplating the possibility of it featuring in excess of 1,500 HP, seen as how the ‘One’ was already mind-boggling quick and mighty in that department.

In fact, we even saw how the Chiron’s predecessor, the Veyron, fell victim to the 1,088 HP Rimac Concept_One during a straight line drag race in which the Croatian hypercar was first to cover a standing quarter mile.

What the Concept_Two will be able to do when it comes to acceleration, remains unknown at the time. However, with official confirmation that its total power output will sit at 1,914 HP, we can safely assume that it will out-sprint the Concept_One to 60 mph (96 km/h), so expect a sub 2.5-second time in that department.

In fact, with almost 2,000 HP on tap, it might even challenge the new Tesla Roadster off the line – the Tesla being capable of hitting 60 mph in less than 2 seconds.

According to reports, the Rimac’s new EV hypercar will also offer Level 4 autonomous technology, which basically means that it should be able to drive completely on its own, as long as a driver is still present behind the wheel.

The Rimac Concept_Two will be unveiled soon in Geneva, before commencing its limited production run of 100 units.
