2019 Polestar Engineered Volvo S60 T8 Sold Out In Just 39 Minutes

It took just 39 minutes for Volvo to sell all 20 of their special edition all-new S60 T8 Polestar Engineered saloons slated for the American market.

The Swedish automaker used its Care by Volvo app in order to connect subscribers with their future special edition cars. However, people can also order the all-new S60 in T6 AWD Momentum trim, both online as well as through the app.

What sets the T8 Polestar Engineered version apart from all others, aside from its 415 horsepower and 494 lb-ft (669 Nm) of torque, are the Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, a Polestar strut bar and the exclusive 19-inch alloys.

Volvo is also offering a complimentary Polestar Engine Software Optimization upgrade to the next 200 Care by Volvo S60 T6 AWD R-Design subscribers, on a first come, first served basis. These upgrades include improved throttle response, shift speed, gear hold and mid-range engine performance, all leading to a better driving experience.

With Care by Volvo, owning a car can be as easy as owning a mobile phone, as your monthly fee includes the car payment, insurance, maintenance and wear and tear costs for two years. After 12 months, Care by Volvo users can upgrade to a new Volvo model, which can be either a completely separate model from the one you already had, or simply a new MY version of the same car.
