Alpine only recently started taking orders for the new A110, but the World Wide Web is already filled with all sorts of videos that show the French Berlinette.

From the rather unfortunate incident that led to a fire while Top Gear’s Chris Harris was driving it, to the very positive reviews it garnered, the little sports car is already making a name of itself.

Now it wants to conquer the Nurburgring, too, but not with a lap record, but an exciting amateur video that shows the Alpine going flat-out. If you’re already in love with the new A110, then the footage will probably make you break the piggy bank and check out the online reservations. If not, you might be smitten by it after watching the vid.

Renault’s resurrected sports brand currently offers two distinct versions of the A110: the Pure and the Legend. The former is the most affordable, at €54,700 ($64,588) in France and £46,905 ($62,981) in the UK, while the latter can be had from €58,500 ($69,075) and £50,805 ($68,217), respectively.

Regardless of your choice, both cars have a mid-mounted turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, which is shared with the new Renault Megane RS. It delivers 252PS (248hp / 185kW) and 320Nm (236lb-ft) of torque to the rear axle, through a dual-clutch seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Naught to 100km/h (62mph) takes just 4.5 seconds and top speed is electronically capped at 250km/h (155mph).
