A few petrol heads gathered in Austria’s capital city, Vienna, a few days ago, to check out some of the latest and greatest machines the world has to offer.

Among them was a Nissan GT-R with a few upgrades, including a loud aftermarket exhaust.

The Godzilla instantly turned all eyes towards it when the driver stepped on the gas. However, the show was quickly stolen by the car in front, an Audi RS4 from the B5 generation that sported an even more impressive exhaust system.

The German super estate popped and crackled its way through the streets, as enthusiasts quickly turned their attention from the Nissan GT-R to the old station wagon that can still throw a punch courtesy of its powerful bi-turbo 2.7-liter V6.

This engine is good for 380PS (375hp / 280kW) and 440Nm (325lb-ft) of torque that are channeled to the quattro Quattro all-wheel drive system through a six-speed manual transmission. The RS4 B5 would complete the 0-100km/h (0-62mph) run in just 4.9 seconds, and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph).

Nowadays, buying an Audi RS4 B5 requires spending around €20,000 ($23,370), but depending on its mileage and how well preserved it is, it could go for more than €35,000 ($40,897).
