If you’re a prospective DS 7 Crossback customer, you can now spec your car in more ways than before thanks to new individual options like the Alezan Brown Nappa leather, a no-cost option on the Ultra Prestige model.
On a Prestige model, you will however need to pay an extra £2,750 for this new interior colorway. Otherwise, you can stick with the Art Black aesthetic. Another novelty is the DS ConnectedCAM, which is now available part of the Premium Safety pack (standard on Ultra Prestige).
The DS ConnectedCAM is a camera system designed into the base of the interior rear-view mirror, and works independently from the on-board infotainment system. It operates by using full HD GPS technology and has a built-in memory card.
DS 7 Crossback owners can use this camera to take photos of the area outside the car, share content, or access video recording in case of an accident. There is of course a Wi-Fi connection that allows data to be moved from the camera to your smartphone.
Opt for the Premium Safety pack and aside from the previously-mentioned camera system, you also get active blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, extended traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert and DS Connected Pilot. Prices for this pack are as follows: £1,450 for Performance Line models, £750 for Prestige models and £400 for the Ultra Prestige flagship spec.
Meanwhile, the following options are stand-alone options: Webasto (heater controlled by remote and smartphone for £600), Extended bi-zone automatic air conditioning (£200), Remote tailgate opening with key & hands-free locking and keyless entry & start (£850 on Performance Line, £400 on Prestige, standard on Ultra Prestige), and the Electric panoramic sunroof (£1,200 on all specs except Ultra Prestige, where it’s standard).
