While Toyota is bound to replace the current Land Cruiser with an all-new model sometime in the next few years, minor cosmetic changes keep happening, with this recent leak depicting the next step in the SUV’s evolutionary process.

The images come via @hamad1two3’s Instagram account, the same account that leaked that 2020 Land Cruiser render a couple of weeks ago. Unlike those images, these here are the real deal.

From what we can gather, the 2019 Land Cruiser GXR (the larger 200, not the Prado) can be seen here rocking a more aggressive front spoiler, while the grille features a more simplified design with fewer horizontal bars. As for the rear, it looks mostly unchanged, aside from the bottom half of the spoiler.

Since these images show an SUV that will be available to Middle Eastern buyers, it’s hard to say if the update will also make its way to the States.

Lexus LX Black Edition S

The same social media account also leaked a bunch of images showing the 2019 Lexus LX 570 Black Edition S, boasting new taillights and blacked-out accents (grille, mirrors, door handles, wheels). Both Russian as well as U.S. buyers should be able to get their hands on this new version of the LX.

Overall, while this is a slightly more aggressive design, the Japanese SUV looks mostly the same as it does right now.
