Meet the real “Real People, Not Actors”. People who don’t take kindly to having their vehicles towed and are apparently willing to take matters into their own hands.

The incident took place in Homestead, Florida, where the owner of the white truck allegedly chased down after the tow truck, asking if he could just hop in to grab some personal belongings. As you can see, he wasn’t entirely truthful and, instead, attempted to drive off.

Since a chain was also attached to the F-150, the truck was unable to break free, although it wasn’t for a lack of trying. In the end, the tow truck stood firm, despite getting yanked around pretty badly throughout the struggle.

According to the video’s description, the authorities were involved and the driver of the white pickup truck was arrested for his actions, which, truth be told, were very ill-advised.

Once the tow hook grabs your vehicle, it’s officially in possession of the tow company, so attempting to drive off is breaking the law – and, as we can see here, even endanger others, like the driver of the tow truck. By the way, despite the toughness of Ford’s truck, there was no way it would break its chains. As for its owner, it’s no surprise that he was taken into custody.
