Nissan’s 2019 Kicks crossover is now on sale at dealerships nationwide across the US, with pricing starting from $18,540 MSRP for the entry-level Kicks S version.

Buyers can choose between three front-wheel drive specs (S, SV and SR), each being equipped with a standard 1.6-liter petrol unit, good for 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft (154 Nm) of torque. According to Nissan, the Kicks boasts a combined fuel consumption rating of 33 mpg (7.1 l/100km).

The 2019 Kicks is offered in a range of seven exterior colors, plus five two-tone combos, three of which utilize a black roof with contrasting body colors (white, orange or red), along with orange roof/grey body and white roof/blue body variants.

Inside, you’ll find what the Japanese automaker calls a modern and simple “Gliding Wing” instrument panel, dominated by a centrally mounted 7.0-inch color display housing the infotainment system. And yes, you also get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as expected with most new crossovers nowadays.

Opt for the SR Premium Package and you’ll get a class-exclusive Bose Personal Plus sound system, featuring a pair of 2.5-inch Bose UltraNearfield neodymium speakers, positioned inside the driver’s seat headrest. Other onboard tech includes an available Intelligent Around View Monitor, while Emergency Braking is standard on all grade levels, along with 7 airbags and a RearView Monitor.

Meanwhile, the SV and flagship SR specs, priced from $20,250 and $20,870 respectively, add Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
