Damaged 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Looks Like A Sneaky-Good Purchase

If you’re in the market for an ultra-luxury car like a Mercedes-Maybach but would rather not spend roughly $200,000 on a brand new one, seeking a good deal on a damaged example might be an idea worth exploring.

Of course you’ll first have to find an ideal vehicle for doing nothing more than some light restoration work, otherwise you’ll just end up spending a lot more money than what the car is actually worth.

As it so happens, this 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 looks like the type of deal worth looking into, as images posted on Copart show not much more than some crumpled bodywork front and rear, with the engine bay seemingly unscathed.

Also very important is the fact that no airbags were deployed, which could mean that the vehicle was stationary when it got squished between two hard objects – not having to reinstall the airbags and reupholster the interior will definitely save you a lot of money.

Otherwise, you’re mostly looking at new body panels, new lighting units, and a bunch of minor repairs that, while may not come cheap, should also not take the sum total anywhere near what the S600 used to cost when new.

Also worth mentioning is that this car’s twin turbocharged V12 power unit has just 32 miles (51.5 km) on it, which means those 530 PS (523 HP) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque have not even been properly exploited yet.

I think for the owner thought of the same and did’t want to fix it.

A 2016 with 32 miles on the clock.
Was it stolen from the showroom and was engaged in the high speed pursuit before it was hit? the thief should be in Jail now.
I don’t know, I keep thinking of that scenario.
