Shaq Buys New RAM 1500, Has It Fitted With 26-In Wheels

Be it a large pickup truck such as the Ford F-650, a muscle car like the Dodge Challenger or even a long-wheelbase Lamborghini Gallardo, Shaquille O’Neal has had his fair share of rides over the years.

But the retired basketball player has always favored good ol’ pickup trucks because of their comfortable interiors and increased hauling abilities (what’s Shaq usually carrying inside those beds, anyway?), and now has a new toy to play with: a 2019 Ram 1500.

The vehicle is already in his possession and, as you’d imagine, it’s not the base version, but a fully loaded model, which has been further customized by the retired professional basketball player, with a set of new rims. These come from Forgiato and are 26-inch in size, with a 10-spoke pattern in a concave design, hence the name of the Series: Concavo. They have also been painted grey to better match the exterior of Shaq’s new ride.

Forgiato has used the same set of wheels in other vehicles in the past, such as the Rolls-Royce Wraith and Aston Martin Vantage V8, in 24- and 22-inch sizes, respectively. Though, if you really want to go over the top, the wheelmaker can sell you the 30 inch Concavo set.

Just to understand what that does to a ride, we covered a story a few months ago with a Chevrolet Camaro sitting on ginormous 32-inch wheels at the time. And guess who made them? That’s right, Forgiato.

The wheels make it look even worse than it does stock.

    • Bash

This is the most beautiful truck, and I’m talking about it being in its stock form. Your sir don’t know what you are talking about.

The Raptor looks better and IS better

        • BGM

The Raptor is another type of beast altogether. Think luxury 1500 vs sports Raptor. Both are awesome!

          • Scherpereel Clement

Yeah I Guess your right but the Raptor doesn’t lack any confort.
And with those nearly non existant tires, the ride confort must be ruined …

        • Bash

          I’m talking luxury here.

      • dumblikeyou2

Is it beautiful, or is it just conventional with lots of chrome appliques? Like they used to do to their cars back in the day. Like a Dodge Dynasty.

      • TheBelltower

It’s not my cup of tea. The aggressive semi-truck plastic looks ridiculous in a rearview mirror.

        • Bash

Fine, you can go ahead and keep your F-150. its alright, different people have different minds.

          • TheBelltower

I’m not really a pickup truck guy, though I’m looking forward to seeing the upcoming Jeep pickup. I have a not-good visceral response when I see a Ram pickup. It has a lot to do with the types of guys that drive them in my area.

      • Danny Boy

        IMHO!😆

  • kachuks

More proof of how much wheel/tire you can stuff in those wells. You could go two inches bigger and it wouldn’t look out of place.

I basically make roughly $22,000-$23,000 on a monthly basis via the internet. I got rid of my job after operating for the same company for a long period. I needed reliable income. I was not interested in the “get rich overnight” home programs you can see all over the internet. Those all of them are type of ponzi kind of multi level marketing schemes in which you need to initially create interested customers thereafter sell a product to friends or relatives or any person so that they will be in your team. Working on the net has many benefits like I am always home with the children and also enjoy time with family on different beaches of the world. Here’s the simplest way to start ARTHSIGN.TUMBLR.COM

      ..and thanks for reading.

Shaq is a grown A MAN still putting 26’s on his vehicles? Man, Shaq, you are too old for this. But do your thang Mane.

  • WE SEE SHAQ EVERY OTHER COMMERCIAL, AT THIS POINT I’M NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT HE DRIVES. OVEREXPOSURE ISN’T A GOOD THING.

  • Brent Morrison

    This story is obviously paid by f o r g i a t o

  • MarketAndChurch

    such a beautiful truck

  • Craig

A pale daffodil yellow pinstripe on the other edge of those wheels would make them look even better. – I say.

    • Danny Boy

Or lime green! And black out that chrome grille!

      • Craig

        Most of the grill anyway.

  • Knotmyrealname

    Who CARES?????

  • charlotteharry57

Not many folks other than Shaq should be dropping obscene amounts of $ on new, loaded full-size pickups, but you see them everywhere. What will happen when the ECONOMY goes belly-up (again)? TONS of repos, I’d guess.

  • MIL1234

looks like 4 spare wheels to me

  • Big Black Duck

finally a guy big enough to fit the truck image…sick and tired of wanna be little people with bloated egos hopping in/ out of trucks like fleas … don’t get me wrong..i am a little guy and will only get a truck if its work related….for someone shaq’s size trucks are the only thing he can get in/out comfortably…as for the rims..not a fan..that said.Rams are the only trucks that look good with wide tires slightly sticking out …so he should have gone wider…not taller

    • ErnieB

      Lol.. that’s so true though..

  • Blade t

    Those wheels look tacky. .

  • Skydis

I have a set of Volks coming in for my car, can I get an article too?

  • Subi-Rubicon1

I don’t think this looks good at all. The wheels/tires make the truck look heavy and clunky. Perhaps is the tires were bigger to balance it out, it would look better, but then again all this is subjective to personal taste or the lack thereof.

    • Danny Boy

      Hater……
      Jk!

  • Rzrlf

    dope

  • DR.FUNK

    I don’t get it.
But I suppose Shaq is a high priest of a sizable sub-culture of wheel fetishists…for who this rocks.

  • The-Fez
  • Danny Boy

Best looking truck currently available! And that interior….Top Lux!
    Go Dodge!

  • ErnieB

Cool truck and color.. just not a fan of ultra low profile tires for pickups.. must ride like crap..
