The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Pullman is the ultimate vehicle featuring the three-pointed star on the bonnet – and a rare one at that.

How many reviews of the S600/S650 Pullman have you seen so far? Probably zero, because it is not easy for car reviewers to find one, let alone shoot a video with it. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Pullman is a state limousine built for kings, queens and presidents so it’s only natural that you won’t see that many of these palaces on wheels in the wild.

Fortunately, the automaker doesn’t restrict sales to heads of state, so millionaires and celebrities can also enjoy the luxury of owning a Pullman.

Vlogger Shmee150 recently gained access to a pre-facelift S600 Pullman (the refreshed model launched earlier this year is called S650) and filmed a video that shows how different it is from a “regular” S-Class. The front and rear may look similar, but the Pullman is very different from its more “mundane” counterparts.

This particular car is a right-hand drive model, probably one of only a handful with the steering wheel on the right side. Obviously, the rear passenger compartment is the car’s centerpiece and the place you want to be. More specifically, it’s the two lounge seats facing the front of the car that you want to sit in. The reverse-facing seats are comfortable as well but nowhere near as cushy and complex.

The rear ones are actually the car’s command center and probably the ultimate seats for control freaks. From there you can issue commands to the driver or erect a wall between you and the driving compartment. You can also isolate yourself from the world, get a massage, drink champagne, watch TV, manage your business (or a country), and so much more.
