The festive season is here and what better way of celebrating the end of another year but with an angry Evora GT410 sliding around the Lotus HQ in Hethel, UK.

Lotus’ special way of sending its wishes to the world involved strapping a Christmas tree on the back of the Evora and taking it for a quick spin around its facilities, thanks to a very understanding security guard.

The two-minute video fills our ears with V6 music, while the test driver showcases the Evora’s excellent dynamic abilities. It also showcases two of the brand’s most famous creations.

The Lotus Evora GT410 is powered by a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 that produces 410hp (416PS) and 309lb-ft (420Nm) of torque. Customers can choose between an automatic or a manual transmission, with the quicker being the former. Power-to-weight ratio is 326hp per tonne, while top speed is set at 190mph (305km/h).

Lotus claims a 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds for the two-pedal version (0-100km/h in 4.1) while the manual adds 0.1 seconds and a whole lot of driver engagement. The manual version is also the lighter of the two, with a kerb weight of 1,320kg (2,910lbs) against 1,331kg (2,934lbs) of the automatic.

Merry driftmas then, and a Hethel New Year!
