Wald International Tunes On The New Suzuki Jimny

It may have been unveiled this summer, but the new generation Suzuki Jimny has already become (surprisingly) a favorite among tuners.

Some aftermarket firms can make the small Japanese off-roader resemble a miniature Land Rover Defender or Mercedes-Benz G-Class, while others improve its styling and raise or lower its ground clearance.

Wald International’s focus is on aesthetics, with the tuner enhancing the Jimny’s looks with an aero-bonnet, new grille with headlight covers, LED DRLs on the front bumper, and roof-mounted lights.

Compared to the standard Suzuki Jimnys, the Japanese company has also raised its ground clearance, and fitted it with new rims, shod in chunky off-road rubber.

We must say though that, with the upgrades installed, Wald International’s Suzuki Jimny gives a Mercedes-Benz G-Class vibe, doesn’t it?

Wald hasn’t announced pricing nor availability details yet, but the full kit will launch in Japan first. Depending on how well it’s received, Wald could offer it to other markets too in the near future.
