This Lamborghini Aventador Replica Started Life As A Honda Accord

The world of replica supercars has always intrigued and, at the same time, left us with many questions. Why do such cars exist? What kind of person buys a replica supercar?

These questions are difficult to answer and, to be frank, they don’t really need answers. As much as it may annoy legitimate automakers and supercar owners, such replicas still exist and will probably continue to exist well into the future. A look at this Lamborghini Aventador replica is but one example.

Built by a company called Executive Modcar Trendz, this Aventador rip-off is particularly curious as it’s based around a four-door Honda Accord, whereas most are based on the Pontiac Fiero.

We’re not entirely sure how the tuner transformed a four-door Accord into a two-door “Aventador coupe”, but the different body styles give the replica some rather odd proportions. For example, the roof is much higher than the real thing and the engine cover and decklid descend at a much steeper angle.

As terrible as the proportions are, we will give the car some props. For example, the paint color is reasonably close to the Aventador’s popular Arancio Argos launch color. Additionally, parts like the headlights and taillights are quite accurate – but that’s about it.

We can’t even begin to imagine what driving this replica would be like. Press the throttle and it would accelerate like a Honda. Pull up to the traffic lights and you’ll probably have boy racers challenge you. Come across a areal Aventador on the drive home and you may start to seriously regret not blending in with all the other Accords out there. Or not. After all, it’s your funeral.

WOW.. Cant fault this…. they did such an amazing job…. very professional

  • That looks surprisingly good. I’ve driven an Aventador. And Hurcan RWD. Both spyders. THANKS LAMBO for the free test drives!

  • other than the car’s natural ratios he did a great and convincing job on the details. I’d not prefer a car like this but it looks amazing.

Critical as criticisms may be, it will not outdrag anything, but it will not self-combust, be less expensive to maintain, more reliable, and good on fuel.
Say what. The job was pretty good. When was the last time someone turned their heads to look at your Accord ?

I bet he gets some chicks though. I can’t even hate. It actually looks good.

Until its driver wrecks it because of poor visibility and worse judgment. Then it’s an Accordion.
