When Lamborghini launched the Aventador in 2011, the industry stood up to applaud its 700 PS (690 HP) 6.5-liter V12 engine that was capable of getting the Italian exotic from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than three seconds.

Even now, the Aventador remains one of the fastest, most exotic and most beautiful cars in the world, whether it’s the original LP 700-4, the newer Aventador S or the hardcore SVJ. The Pontiac GTO-based replica you see here, on the other hand, is garbage.

Well, not to be mean for the sake of it but we doubt there’s anyone out there willing to say that this contraption is actually a “replica” of anything. It has some Aventador-like visual features, but that’s about it.

As for the interior, there’s a Lamborghini inscription underneath the passenger-side airbag, plus an angled center console, somewhat similar to what you’d find on the Lambo, although only shape-wise.

The car is currently up for sale on Craigslist and the owner is asking for $22,500. In return you get a 2004 Pontiac GTO frame/body with its original drivetrain and electronics, plus a “dummy” mid-engine – because the real engine is in front. The seller also claims that the car “runs and drives great,” a statement he follows up by saying “All power”…
