A Subaru Outback Somehow Mounted A Tesla Model S In LA

A Subaru Outback driver found themselves in a rather sticky situation in Beverly Hills a couple days ago after curiously driving up onto a parked Tesla Model S.

These two images, released by the Beverly Hills Police Department on social media, show the Outback with its passenger side front wheel resting on the C-pillar of the Model S.

On first impressions, the images aren’t entirely convincing and you may be left wondering if they’re the work of a photoshop artist. However, we’re inclined to believe that they’re real since they were released by the Beverly Hills Police Department and it is far too early for an April Fools joke.

According to authorities, the Subaru driver aggressively “swerved to avoid a fox or a dog.”

What is particularly interesting about the whole scene is that neither the Subaru or Tesla appear to have suffered any significant cosmetic damage in the incident. Admittedly, the images are quite poor quality so it is hard to be sure but it seems apparent that neither car will require any seriously repairs. With that being said, the Subaru may have suffered some suspension damage would could be rather costly to fix.

However, things could have been much worse. If the Subaru was traveling slightly faster, it likely would have rolled onto its roof after hitting the Tesla, potentially injuring the driver.

The first picture looks like a bad photoshop attempt.

Did anyone ask the driver how “she” did it?

    • Smith

WOW, what an idiot to assume a woman, probably more likely your Dad!

      • robotlogic

$hit driving + swerving to avoid an animal = Chick.

        It wasn’t me!…I mean Bo Hanan’s dad.

      fixed.

  • Astonman

Looks like the Subaru has some hate on the Tesla and wants to pee on it doggy style.

    • S3XY

It has hate because Subaru itself is dying.

      • Astonman

No. Subaru is doing very, very well.

  • Smith

Certainly was not due to any sexual attraction, unless the Subaru likes, plain and ugly.

    • S3XY

Speaking for yourself I see. It’s good your honest.

  • ErnieB

Very impressed by how the Subaru handle this without tipping over!

  • Paul

What do we get when these two breed?

  • Perry F. Bruns

And somewhere, Transformers fan fiction writers are already revving up their keyboards.

  • Bash

    Oh that’s NSFW.

  • NewWave80’sChick

With the poor build quality of the Tesla it is unlikely that the owner will notice anything different with the fit and finish of the body panels.

    • Joe E

It may have even improved the factory panel gaps

  • That guy

This must where car babies like Fiats come from!

Even though it looks better and creates more interior space pushing the wheels out to the corners creates a very dangerous situation. This design is probably responsible for most slow speed rollovers.
