Genesis Wants To Lure You With All-Inclusive Leasing Program For G70, G80, G90

Genesis’ answer to its rivals’ subscription services is a new, all-inclusive leasing program called Spectrum. The new program will be available in select markets on the 2019 G70, G80 and G90 sedans and includes insurance as part of the monthly payment.

The new Genesis Spectrum leasing program is, according to the carmaker, designed to create a true premium experience for customers, in combination with the company’s Service Valet program that’s now standard on all 2019MY models.

This is what it includes:

  • 3 years/36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance
  • 3 years/36,000 miles complimentary Service Valet
  • 3 years of complimentary Genesis Connected Services, including Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Destination Search powered by Voice and Remote Start with climate control
  • 3 years of complimentary SiriusXM® Travel Link (Data Services)
  • 3 years of complimentary Annual Multimedia and Navigation Updates
  • Lifetime complimentary traffic data
  • Best-in-class warranty with Enhanced Roadside Assistance and Concierge Services, including tire changes or transportation to the nearest Genesis dealership or authorized service facility, and reimbursement for inconvenience.
  • Guaranteed Asset Protection waiver for Genesis Finance leases
  • Up to $1,525 allowance for excess wear and use, excess mileage, and disposition fee for returning Genesis Finance customers

“We designed Genesis Spectrum as a seamless leasing experience that acts as an extension of the Genesis brand and its values,” said Erwin Raphael, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor America. “More than anything, the Genesis Spectrum premise respects our customers’ time, which is their most valuable luxury.”

The Service Valet includes everything, from valet service appointments scheduled through the Genesis mobile app to complimentary maintenance and the brand’s Connected Services.

Each 2019 Genesis model now comes with 3 years/36,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance and Service Valet, as well as 3 years of complimentary Connected Services, SiriusXM Travel Link, and annual Multimedia and Navigation updates and a lifetime of free traffic data.

The Genesis Spectrum program, which follows more or less the same recipe with Lexus’ own leasing program for the UX small SUV, will initially launch at the company’s retailers in Florida in collaboration with the Metlife Auto & Home insurance company.

the G70 looks so good, inside and out, looks like a mix of Italian and German with some Japanese premium lines here and there

    • Edums

      Do you mean Korean?

      • Mike Gonzalez

I know it’s Korean but give me more of a Lexus or Infiniti vibe than a Hyundai or Kia

    • SteersUright

really doesn’t. Its an improvement, but it still looks cheap and not on par with the clean design, perfectly precise shut-lines, deep, rich paint, and other details that make the Germans stand out.

      • EL CHAPO THA GREAT

Cheap? I think you need to get your eyes check, kid.

  • Liam Paul

sedans are a hard sale. Hyundai came to the party too late to make a splash. hyundai should have it where they promise so much value back compared to rivals like bmw lexus etc

    • SteersUright

100% back? as in you get to drive the for free?

  • Merc1

These cars are too mediocre to matter in the touch much in the tough sedan market. That said, the G70 is a really nice car, but the G80 and that new (ghastly) G90 are just not convincing at all. They new SUV/Crossovers ASAP. The G80 sport also might warrant a second glance though.

Preparing for the release of 2020 g80 and GV80 huh

  • BlackPegasus

Is the G70 on sale yet? I haven’t seen one on the road as of yet.

    • Gaugabuck

Yes they are. I saw one on the roads today in Orlando Florida.

  • SteersUright

Long list of bs, the only thing they’re throwing in is maintenance, which BMW and others have had for years. Trying hard to be taken seriously as a quasi-luxury brand, they’ve certainly made strides but, there is nothing exciting or tremendously innovative in this lease program.

    • EL CHAPO THA GREAT

lease program doesn’t have to be exciting for a simpleton as yourself.

Genesis can Lure me with a new generation Genesis coupe…

    • Mike anonymous

They said it’s coming, but they are going to do the SUV and then finish redesigning (not just facelifting) the rest of their line to match the SUV.

    • sg11

You will get the Genesis SUV coupe first

  • Thunderbolt

All that Genesis needs right now to complete the line up are: a sport coupe, a luxury SUV, and a luxury truck
