Lamborghini Huracan Performante Crashes While Leaving Car Meet

A Lamborghini Huracan Performante pulled a Mustang while leaving a car meet organized by UK luxury car dealer HR Owen over the weekend in London.

The Italian supercar’s owner presumably wanted to put on a show, so despite being on a narrow roads with cars parked on one side, he took off with the right pedal to the metal and the V10 screaming its lungs out.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned and the Huracan ended up crashing into a tree. Everything happened in front of the camera and, luckily, nobody was injured, despite the car hitting that tree on the driver’s side.

As for the Huracan, it sustained some serious damages and it’s going to need a lot of work to be brought back to life, if the insurers don’t deem it a write-off. Also, if the insurance won’t cover the expenses, it will burn a deep hole in the owner’s pockets, since this is even more expensive than the regular Huracan due to the aero and other modifications made to ensure it’s the most hardcore variant yet.

The reminded us of another accident recorded last year, in which a BMW M4 Cabrio went off-roading while leaving another car meet (see, it’s not only Mustangs after all – Ed’s note). After being bruised, it was temporarily fixed with duct tape by the overenthusiastic driver. That’s not possible in this case, though, as the Huracan might look perfectly fine from the left, but its right side is all seriously mangled up.

Come to think of it, now that we’ve watched the video again and again, that’s 99 percent a write-off. Which means one less Performante is going to roam the streets.

So, at what point we start seeing car meets as 3rd cause of accidents?

People with money to buy these types of cars and most of them can’t drive them properly.

  • eb110americana

This doesn’t make the driver’s actions any less stupid, but it likely oversteered over the loose “sticker balls” (as we used to call them) fallen all over the road from that tree. Once the weight shifted forward, it was all over.

  • Mr. EP9

Can’t let Mustangs do all the work.

  • typical idiots in car. everyone should now that your “track focused” car is not used daily as a track-focused one.

    Very entertaining! 🙂

What a damn fool…on a UK road no less! Like we have space on our tight little roads for normal cars let alone a supercar

Humankind is doomed because they are taking photo of someone else crashing a car they clearly cant handle?

  • It’s foolish to think the brain can avoid the ultimate power of physics.

  • Wandering_Spirit

Possessed by the spirit of a dead Mustang the Lambo couldn’t control itself…

  • Plenty more Huracans available

What happens when you engage an urban street with launch mode on cold tyres rather than engage a wide open track with some warm up laps.

A meet….at a Lamborghini service centre…more like lets say hi to each other on a miserable North London commercial estate after a normal scheduled service.
