ICON is offering the first example of its latest Old School BR series on an online auction, giving the chance to the winning bidder to jump the 2-year waiting list and drive off with a beautifully reengineered 1966 Ford Bronco.

Finished in glossy orange under a creme white removable hardtop, ICON’s Bronco BR #66 retains the classic style of the beloved Ford, featuring special bumpers, headlight surrounds, door handles and side view mirrors.

As with every Ford Bronco that goes through ICON’s extensive treatment, this one rides on a new Art Morrison chassis with coil-over suspension that includes Fox Racing dampers and Eibach springs, as well as front and rear sway bars.

The car is riding on 18-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with hubcaps and finished in body color, but ICON’s Jonathan Ward said that the winning bidder could have them changed for free if necessary. The wheels are wrapped in 33-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

Power is provided by Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine that produces 426hp and 402lb-ft (545Nm) of torque. It sends its power to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and an Atlas II 2-speed shift-on-the-fly transfer case. The axles are custom Dana-based items fitted with ARB locking differentials.

The dashboard in finished in creme white and features vintage-style knobs, a matching three-spoke steering wheel and a new instrument that combines speedometer, tachometer, oil temperature, water temperature, fuel level and voltage meter. There’s also a high-end audio system with Bluetooth and an air-conditioning system.

The car is currently auctioned off over at Bring A Trailer, with ICON to donate 10 percent of the sale to Autotype’s Emerging Designer Scholarship Fund. The current bid at the moment of writing was $235,000, with two days left under the hammer drops.
