This horrific crash took place a few weeks back on a motorway near Warsaw, Poland. It all started with a semi truck veering right for no apparent reason, plowing into a stationary vehicle by the side of the road.

What’s really troubling here is just how close of a call this was for the individuals who were apparently adjusting the cargo on top of that small truck. The person inside the truck bed literally jumped out at the last possible moment before the semi struck. They were also lucky not to get hit by incoming traffic.

“My colleague and I witnessed a very dangerous looking accident on route S8 in Marki, Poland. A big truck for no apparent reason turned to the side of the road, where the bus was stopped. Three people from the bus were adjusting the fastening of the cargo inside the bus when the truck started heading straight at them. They jumped off the bus at the last moment to save themselves. The speeding truck crashed into the bus. Fortunately, no one got hurt in this accident,” as per the description of the video.

Police spokeswoman Ewa Szymanska-Sitkiewicz stated that it was a miracle nobody was injured, while adding that “the event was classified as a collision. Both drivers were sober.”

Meanwhile, police officer Piotr Swistak, said that there was no evidence that the semi driver had fainted, and that his colleagues believe that he was simply going too fast, which is why he was issued a fine, as reported by Metro.

From the outside looking in, with loss of consciousness ruled out, this looks like a classic case of inattentiveness.
