The Bronco is one of the most iconic vehicles ever built by Ford, and this particular example that’s currently up for auction in Bring A Trailer, is one of the most intriguing examples we’ve come across.

A 1977 model, this Bronco wears a custom paint job. The seller says that, in 2005, it was repainted in the factory Dark Jade Metallic and adorned with a white roof for the wedding of the owner’s daughter.

In addition to the work done on the exterior, the Bronco had its front seats and rear bench reupholstered in white vinyl back in 2005. In 2017, damaged sections of the floor on the driver and passenger sides were also replaced.

Unfortunately, not every component of this Bronco works as you would expect. For example, the seller notes that the odometer and windshield wipers are the only features on the dashboard which currently work, indicating that the vehicle has some kind of electrical problems. Images of the Bronco’s underside also show that many parts are badly rusted.

Powering the vehicle is a 302 cubic inch V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case which can either send power to the rear wheels or all four wheels. The listing notes that one of the two factory fuel tanks have been removed.

At the time of writing, the highest bid was $11,250, and with the auction ending in less than two and a half hours, we don’t see that price going any higher.
