Young Russian Covers Her Lambo Aventador SV In 2 Million Swarovski Crystals

What started life as a very exciting red Lamborghini Aventador SV has been turned into a vulgar head-turning piece of jewelry.

That’s not a figure of speech, either: the car has been covered in roughly 2 million Swarovski crystals, an excruciating process that required many steady hands and lots of man hours to complete.

Spotted in London a few days ago, it attracted quite a crowd from the moment it was unloaded from the truck until it drove away. The Italian supercar is owned by Daria Radionova. The young Russian woman is an entrepreneur with a fine taste in cars. The thing is, she tends to overdo them, as this isn’t the first time one of her rides is covered in countless Swarovski crystals.

Some of Radionova’s former rides that have received the Swarovski treatment over the years were a Lamborghini Huracan and a previous-gen Mercedes-Benz CLS. The first one is said to be wearing 1.3 million crystals, whereas the executive four-door coupe about 1 million. It’s hard to imagine washing them – heck, even dust particles will probably give the person responsible for keeping the car clean a headache.

As for this Aventador SV, it’s said to be the “world’s first car to be covered in 2 million crystals”. The claim was made by CarsInCloaks, a London-based automotive customizer and the company behind this very bold project, which is more than satisfied with the way it came out.

extravagant and unnecessary but it’s not terrible, I actually like it and think it’s tastefully done.

    • Big Black Duck

but what if this was done by someone Dubai?

      • enthusia

I would still like it. When I first saw the thumb nail I thought it was someone from Dubai.

    • ErnieB

It was definitely not done by Mansory…lol

  • Zandit75

Money doesn’t buy taste, but it sure looks to purchase plenty of lip filler.
When will this ridiculous trend of “Influencers” finish.
What a world we would have if things like the Kardashians and “real Life” TV shows never happened!

    • Paulbe

I don’t think anyone would accuse Russian women of possessing taste.

I wanna see if she looks as dumb as her car looks dumb now

Someone needs to hack YouTube, instagram, and facebook and bring the thing down!!

Oh, please! What a nut case, although it really doesn’t look that bad considering some things that get done to vehicles these daze.[sic]

      lol

  • Wandering_Spirit

A genuine disgrace. It’s not even bad to see. It’s just a matter of poor taste.
Besides, I’d also stop calling it the “Italian car”. The brand stopped being Italian a while ago. It’s a German VW brand with e vague reminiscence of Italian style, mostly in the badge.

  • Six_Tymes

whelp, she sure can afford it, Daria Radionova has millions.

  • Liam Paul

lol looks so dumb, does she, can she really think it looks good now and not what it really is, awful. Well if she wants to waste money to ruin a car lol

  • homemark

Everything that’s wrong in the world all in one car.

  • Wandering_Spirit

That car is made in Italy and does not look as a Lamborghini. Like most Lamborghini models since the Germans took it over. The Dodge is a different thing.
On the engines, they started with Lambos and then went with additions from Audi. (https://www.quora.com/Is-Lamborghini-really-using-Audis-engine-Doesn%E2%80%99t-Lamborghini-make-their-own-engines?share=1)

But my point is the design. I have said many times they stopped being Lamborghini when they went north. And it shows, at least for me. There is a lot of stuff that is MADE IN ITALY. Except it’s the Chinese doing it. Just saying.
