No matter how much money or how many supercars one has, taking delivery of a new blue-blooded machine will always get their hearts pumping. This year, Christmas came earlier for a one Manny Khoshbin, who added yet another expensive car in his collection: a McLaren Senna.

The businessman took delivery last week, showing up in a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. However, as eye-catching as the posh British convertible may be, it pales next to the Senna.

Mind you, this is no run-of-the-mill (figuratively speaking, of course…) Senna either, at it sports a very special finish inspired by the Marlboro livery of the late Ayrton Senna’s F1 car, albeit in a more-orange-than-red and white shade, adorned with black bits and beautified with his racing #12.

Khoshbin said he had to wait more than a year to finally meet his new McLaren, stating that it seems bigger in reality than it does in pictures and videos. He barely slept the night before taking delivery – and needless to say, it was love at first sight.

With only 500 units to be built and a whopping starting price that equals to $1 million, all Sennas were sold out even before its official unveiling to the public. It is Woking’s current range-topper and is powered by a 789 hp (800 PS / 588 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Naught to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) takes a neck-snapping 2.5 seconds and, flat-out, it will do 200+ mph (320+ km/h).

On the “used” car market, prices exceed $1.2 million, with some asking close to $2 million for examples with delivery miles…
