A few days ago, Audi teased us with a really high-spec interior, belonging to one of their models on display at a showroom in Neckarsulm, Germany. Later they revealed the car to be a Q8 crossover, wearing a Galaxy Blue Metallic exterior.

While the aesthetics of this luxury SUV Coupe can attract just about anyone’s attention, we’re mostly focused on the interior, which features a high-contrast combination of wood, leather, Alcantara and aluminum surfaces.

No expense spared?

At first glance, we thought the cabin had a Saiga Beige – Eucalyptus Wood combo, but that’s clearly not the case. This is an Audi Exclusive interior, and the seats appear to be wearing dual-tone Havana Brown and Black leather, while the wood inlays are probably Oak.

Also available is the white contrast stitching, part-Alcantara steering wheel, Alcantara headliner and door panels, plus of course the piano black finish on the dashboard and center console. It’s definitely a spectacular-looking spec, and it may even surpass or at least rival the interior of this brown Audi A6.

As for the exterior, it’s pretty nice too thanks to the S Line trim and those absolutely massive dual-tone 22-inch wheels, easily among the biggest Audi will sell you on this car.

Last but not least, we should touch on performance. Since this Q8 50 TDI was on display in Germany, it’s no wonder that underneath its hood is a 3.0-liter turbo diesel unit, producing 282 HP (286 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. It’s enough to get you from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 144 mph (231 km/h).
