The unveiling of the 2020 Corvette C8 is less than ten days away, but a YouTuber has posted what he’s claiming is an undisguised photo of the highly anticipated sports car.

While the quality isn’t that great, the picture shows the model will have an aggressive front fascia with aggressive air intakes. Bigger changes occur further up as the car has a flatter hood and slimmer headlights.

Additional details are hard to make out, but we can see new mirrors and prominent side scoops which flow into wide rear fenders. The low quality makes it hard to confirm the authenticity of the image, but several elements do match up with previous spy photos – just not all of them.

Regardless of whether or not this is actually the 2020 Corvette, a purported picture of the car’s rear end surfaced earlier this week. That image showed the model will have a ventilated rear fascia with a hexagonally shaped cut out for the license plate. The image also provided a glimpse of the all-new taillights and a prominent diffuser which is flanked by a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.

Chevrolet has been tight-lipped about the next-generation Corvette, but the model will be unveiled on July 18th at 7:30 PDT. While the company is staying coy on specifics, the entry-level model is slated to retain the Stingray name and use an updated 6.2-liter V8 engine dubbed the LT2.

Nothing is official, but reports have suggested the engine will have an output of between 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS). The torque output is also rumored to climb to approximately 480 lb-ft (650 Nm).

We’ll have more to say about the 2020 Corvette relatively soon, so stay tuned for details.
