Footage from a gender reveal party on Australia’s Gold Coast has captured the moment a powerful HSV caught fire after it performed a colourful burnout on a public road.

Drone footage of the incident shows the powerful homebred muscle car emitting plumes of blue smoke as it does a burnout to celebrate the upcoming birth of a boy. Bystanders can be seen helping the driver and his passenger escape from the car before the fire spreads, but bizarrely, someone jumps back in the car, seemingly in an attempt to put out the flames by driving around.
