A new trailer for Netflix’s upcoming car show Hyperdrive has been released featuring executive produced Charlize Theron.

The first trailer was released earlier this month and previewed the show which has been aptly described as “American Ninja Warrior for cars”. It looks set to be a lot of fun, and this video showcases a young girl’s love for cars and drifting.

The clip doesn’t state where she’s from, but based on her accent, we suspect she’s from South Africa (like Theron herself). She drives a modified E30-gen BMW M3 and despite her young age, has seriously impressive car control and can even perform some rather crazy stunts, including hanging out of the open driver’s side window as the car performs perfect donuts.

Hyperdrive will revolve around 28 drivers from different walks of life and living around the world converging on a car obstacle course located at Eastman Business Park in Rochester, New York. The initial trailer showed off some very nice machinery, including a Chevrolet C6 Corvette, Nissan S13 Silvia, Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan 350Z, and a Mazda RX-7.

Executive producer Chris Cowan recently stated that the team “wanted to create a groundbreaking spectacle that you could only find on Netflix — something that was too stupid to attempt anywhere else. We wanted to provide this democratic global competition where car enthusiasts have a place to go to try and win a championship and really compete for something that matters.”

We don’t yet know when the show will premiere, but it sounds promising so we’ll be tuning in – as, we guess, will most, at least to check out the first episode and see if it’s really worth watching.
