The official online configurator for the 2020 Ford Escape is live on the company’s U.S. website with pricing details of the new SUV also released.

Sitting at the base of the 2020 Escape range is the ‘S’ model priced from $26,080 including the $1195 destination charge. This model is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine but we suspect it probably won’t be the best selling new Escape model.

Those willing to pay a little more have SE, SEL, and Titanium trim levels at their disposal with prices starting at $28,290, $30,450, and $34,595 respectively.

Perhaps the most exciting addition to the Escape family is the new SE Sport Hybrid. Prices for this model start at $29,450 and for the money, buyers get an all-new 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle hybrid engine paired with an electronic continuously variable transmission. This powertrains pumps out a total of 198 hp and can be coupled with the SE Sport Hybrid and Titanium trim levels. It has an all-electric driving range of at least 30 miles (48 km).

Sitting at the top of the powertrain range is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder mated exclusively to an all-wheel drive system and standard on the non-hybrid Escape Titanium and optional on the SEL. It delivers a meaty 250 hp.

Jumping into the configurator reveals a number of optional extras which can be added to the 2020 Escape models. For example, buyers can pay for $3395 and receive Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 Assist system that includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, a power tailgate, and remote start system. Among the interior options are a panoramic sunroof and front and rear floor liners.
