The world of modified cars is filled with many intriguing niches and bizarre styles. ‘Donk’ cars are among the craziest and most controversial.

The term denotes cars that are sitting on wheels significantly larger than the ones they left the factory with. Traditionally, donk cars were old American sedans with wheels often exceeding more than 30-inches. More modern models have entered the scene in recent years, and this pimped-out Dodge Challenger is one of them.

The car in question is owned by enthusiast Corey Jones and is unlike any other you’ve probably seen. It sits on a set of gargantuan 34-inch deep-dish wheels with chrome spokes and also features a bespoke paint scheme that glistens in various different colors and shades depending on the angle at which it is viewed. For example, the paint transitions from green to gold, and purple to blue. Jones says he helped design the vehicle’s wheels and that they are one-of-a-kind. Unique LED headlights have also been fitted which can be operated remotely.

Not satisfied with working his magic on the vehicle’s exterior, Jones has also had the interior re-trimmed in all-new leather. In addition, there is LED ambient lighting throughout the cabin that Jones controls through a smartphone application which allows him to choose any color he wants. A Rolls-Royce-inspired starlight roof is also present.

Donk cars are loved by some and hated by many, and no matter how you may feel about them, one has to respect the passion this man has for bright paint jobs and big wheels.
