The Hyundai Venue recently arrived in Australia and Cars Guide has had the opportunity to test it out.
Many consider the Venue has a more modern, high-riding version of the Accent that’s better suited to the current preferences of consumers. The reviewer in question also has similar things to say.
In Australia, it has a very reasonable starting price of $19,990 AUD ($13,433 USD) for the Go trim level that comes complete with an 8-inch infotainment display with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a reversing camera. There is also cruise control, dusk-sensing headlights, hill-start assist, and autonomous emergency braking as standard.

One step up in the range brings you to the Venue Active that is priced from $21,490 AUD ($14,441). Added extras include LED daytime running lights, power-folding side mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and a better, six-speaker sound system.
Topping out the lineup is the Venue Elite that starts at $25,490 ($17,129 USD). It includes two-tone exterior paintwork, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, and rear privacy glass. Other features include automatic climate control, blind-spot collision warning, and rear cross-traffic collision warning.
Some are not too happy to see hatchbacks slowly disappearing from the market in favor of cheap and spacious crossovers, and we don’t blame them. Fortunately, the Venue appears to have all the right ingredients to make for a compelling package that buyers will undoubtedly flock to.
