Lumma Design has previewed the aggressive widebody kit it is developing for the latest BMW X7.

Dubbed the CLR X7, the package consists of an overhauled front fascia that’s much more aggressive than the front end of any regular X7 to leave BMW’s factory. In addition to fitting a new bumper, Lumma has also blacked-out the controversial kidney grille that certainly helps it blend in with the rest of the design rather than standing out when finished in chrome.

Moving on from the front end, it’s impossible not to mention the flared front and rear wheel arches which are 50 mm wider on each side. These provide the CLR X7 with an imposing new look and help to house 24×10-inch wheels at the front and 24×13-inch ones at the rear, shod in 295 mm and 355 mm tires respectively. Mind you, the latter are the same width as the rear tires of the Bugatti Chiron…

The tuning company has also fettled with the rear end of the luxurious SUV and developed a bespoke exhaust system, added a small spoiler that stretches off the roof, a small secondary lip spoiler on the tailgate, and fitted a bold rear diffuser. Lumma says the two spoilers are actually functional, helping reduce lift over the rear axle.

As for the interior, it can be customized to the tastes of the owner and the company says it can cater to everything, from requests for an “elegant VIP lounge” to a “cockpit with motorsport flair.”
