Volvo has started taking orders for the new S60, V60 and XC60 Polestar Engineered in the United Kingdom, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin before the end of the year.

For the S60, you will have to fork out at least £56,105 (equal to $72,731/€65,077), while the V60 and XC60 start at £57,205 ($74,157/€66,353) and £64,545 ($83,672/€74,867), respectively.

Powering the three models is the T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid powertrain, which uses a 2.0-liter four-pot and an electric motor, for a total system output of 405 PS (399 hp / 298 kW). The S60 Polestar Engineered needs only 4.4 seconds for the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint, making it Volvo’s fastest accelerating car yet. It can also travel in all-electric mode for up to 27.3 miles (44 km) and returns 104.5 mpg UK (2.7 l/100 km / 87 mpg US) in the WTLP test cycle.

Aside from the extra oomph, the S60 and V60 Polestar Engineered feature Brembo brakes, whereas the XC60 gets Akebono. Elsewhere, all three models are fitted with Ohlins adjustable shock absorbers to provide a great balance between handling and comfort, as well as a new front strut bar. The shock absorber design and strut bar are shared with the Polestar 1.

Visual updates include high gloss black accents in the grille and black chrome exhaust pipes, as well as five-Y-spoke design 19-inch wheels for the S60 and V60, and 21-inch for the XC60. Inside, the three vehicles get gold-colored seatbelts and stitched finish for the instrument panel, as well as extra gear, such as a Harman Kardon audio system, heated steering wheel and aluminum front tread plates.
