Dominic Toretto’s 2,250 HP ’68 Dodge Charger ‘Maximus’ From Furious 7 Is For Sale

Collectors will get the chance to put their name on the title of the Dodge Charger Maximus, the same car Vin Diesel drove in the end scene of Furious 7 film. This one-of-one Dodge Charger will be offered at the Riyadh Auction on November 23 from Worldwide Auctioneers.

The Dodge Charger Maximus is described as a one-off creation, using a custom chassis from Scott Spock Racing that’s 400 percent more rigid than the original and of course that gorgeous custom metal body that’s wider by 5 inches compared to the original.

The bodywork took over 16,000 hours to be completed and it features no paint in order to show off the stunning metalwork under a custom clear coat.

Under the bonnet lies a patented twin-turbo 9.4-liter Hemi V8 engine built by Tom Nelson, producing over 2,250 HP, making the Maximus capable of a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 1.8 seconds and, get this, 0-160 mph (257km/h) in just 8 seconds. Did we mention that it’s fully road-legal?

The fully adjustable coilover suspension comes with a bespoke geometry, there are adjustable sway bars and the brakes utilize massive 14-inch rotors with six-piston calipers. There’s also a GPS-based traction control system.

The interior is trimmed in Italian leather and features dense German carpets, as well as sound- and heat-proofing to keep the occupants comfortable. A custom SSR Sound system is also present while the original AM radio along with an IOS-based touchscreen display are hidden behind a robotized panel on the dash.

The celebrity status of the vehicle will grow even stronger, as the Maximus Charger has been requested to participate in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 and 10 films and has been computer-modeled for use in an upcoming Forza Racing video game, among other.
