We all know that the 1990s were peak JDM era and this 1991 Nissan President Sovereign Luxury is one of the most genuine representatives of that period.

The specific example was offered in an eBay auction but it didn’t manage to find a home, despite its seemingly lovely condition. This luxurious Nissan is finished in Dark Bluish Black Pearl over Connolly Gray leather and the odometer reads just 40,306 km (25,045 miles).

The seller describes it as being meticulously maintained during its life in Japan, before arriving in the United States in 2016. All the correct documents are also present, including the original factory books and tool kit, service records, television signal guide and the special President key wallet.

As a car that justifies its name, this Nissan President Sovereign Luxury is loaded with pretty much everything you’d expect from a 1990s flagship sedan, with all the powered accessories said to be in working order, including the front and rear seats and the TV at the rear.

Power comes from the same engine found in the US-spec Infiniti Q45, namely a 4.5-liter V8 that produces 270 HP and is paired to a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Nissan President was a rival to models like the Honda Legend and the Lexus LS of the era. The combination of the JDM status with the relatively available parts thanks to its common underpinnings with the Infiniti Q45 and its classy but foreign looks should make it ideal for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
