The new Mercedes GLA is now available to order for customers in the UK, with first deliveries scheduled to take place this summer.

Prices for the new Mercedes GLA start from £32,640 ($42,432) for the entry-level GLA 200 Sport, which is powered by a 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol unit with 161 HP (163 PS) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque, paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Standard equipment in the base Sport models of the new Mercedes GLA includes LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, a seven-inch MBUX infotainment system, a two-zone climate control system and more.

For an extra £1500 ($1950), customers can opt for the Sport Executive trim, which comes with parking sensors, wireless charging and the bigger 10.25-inch infotainment display. The sportier AMG Line adds 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels along with an AMG bodykit, sports seats with red stitching and carbon trim.

The range-topping AMG Line Premium Plus trim level starts from £38,640 ($50,232) and comes fully loaded with features like a panoramic sunroof, memory seats, and Multibeam LED adaptive headlights.

The initial petrol range also includes the GLA 250, priced from £35,680 ($46,384) in AMG Line trim, which uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo unit with 221 HP (224 PS) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque paired to an eight-speed DCT.

If you prefer diesel, then the GLA 200 d is the base model for you, priced from £33,740 ($43,862) and featuring a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 HP (150 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque paired to an eight-speed DCT. Mercedes offers the GLA 200 d with both front- and all-wheel drive. The same engine is present on the GLA 220 d 4Matic, only here it produces a more healthy 187 HP (190 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.
