Customer deliveries of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray have officially commenced in the United States and recently, the first C8 ‘Vette was handed over to its owners at the National Corvette Museum.
Those who order a new Corvette can opt for a $995 option to take possession of their cars at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. For $995, they also receive a special VIP experience and a guided tour of the facility.
In addition, the cars feature special stickers on the door sills, confirming they were delivered at the museum, a special lapel pin, a recognition plaque, and a one-year membership to the museum.
Perhaps the biggest perk, however, is the fact that shoppers who have their cars delivered to the museum can drive around the NCM Motorsports Park in a demonstrator C8.

The very first 2020 Corvette delivered through the National Corvette Museum is owned by Glenn and Andrea Johnson. This is the elderly couple’s sixth Corvette and is VIN #29. The car is finished in Torch Red and looks to be equipped with the Z51 Performance Package. It’s a very nice spec and we’re particularly fond of the gloss black wheels and black rear spoiler.
The National Corvette Museum says it will make roughly a thousand C8 deliveries over the coming ten months.
