With a perfect take-off, the Corvette can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 3 seconds, en route to 194 mph (312 km/h), which is the official top speed. Power comes from a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine that pumps out 495 HP (502 PS / 369 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque, with the optional performance exhaust system. Pricing starts at under $60,000 and the first deliveries commenced last week.
