It’s no secret that Hyundai’s N performance division has big plans for the future and intends on launching a host of new models in the coming years. Could these plans include a Palisade N, a Nexo N and even a Prophecy N?

To give us an idea of what the first two SUVs could look like in N guise, Hyundai took to Instagram to share these images “just for fun” instead of doing a traditional April Fool’s day joke which is far from appropriate this time. While neither the Palisade N nor Nexo N actually exist, both look superb and we’d love to see them become a real thing.

Starting with the Hyundai Palisade N that’s been rendered, it is adorned in the performance division’s trademark shade of light blue and includes a blacked-out grille and a unique front bumper sporting red accents. Elsewhere, the SUV includes flared wheel arches, extended side skirts, distinctive wheels, beefed-up brakes, a spoiler, a rear diffuser, and quad tailpipes.

The Hyundai Nexo N looks even better. It too benefits from an overhauled front fascia with a new grille, large air intakes, and red accents. Similarly, the sides have been tweaked and the rear looks especially eye-catching thanks to an i30 N-style roof spoiler, quad tailpipes, and a unique bumper. Unfortunately, as the Nexo is a hydrogen model, it is unlikely an N version will see the light of day.

What about the Prophecy N?

Hyundai has also imagined an N version of the electric Prophecy concept unveiled last month. There are no signs of the carmaker bringing the Prophecy to the production line at this point, but it sure does look nice with an N makeover.

There are a handful of new vehicles from Hyundai N that we do know are just around the corner, however. First up will be an i20 N designed to rival the Ford Fiesta ST and VW Polo GTI – and no, it’s not for North America. N versions of the Kona and Elantra are also rumored to be under development while the Korean company is even working on an N-badged mid-engined hybrid sports car.
