Rimac is one of the car manufacturers leading the charge towards all-electric hypercars and, in this new video from the Croatian firm, we get to meet its test driver.

In the grand scheme of things, there aren’t all that many high-performance automakers in the world and very few people can say they’re a test driver for one of them. The supercar world’s best-known (former) test driver is Valentino Balboni from Lamborghini, but after watching this clip, you’ll probably agree that Rimac’s test driver has a pretty epic job also.

Miroslav Zrnčević was formerly an automotive journalist before joining Rimac in the marketing department when the company only had about 20 employees. He joined the brand with the ultimate goal of becoming its test driver and now he has the opportunity to drive the C_Two on a daily basis. Sounds like a pretty good office to us.

Of course, Zrnčević isn’t the only Rimac employee that drives the company’s prototypes as development engineers also have their turn behind the wheel to make sure everything is perfect. Company founder Mate Rimac also routinely drives the C_Two and has the final say as to how it drives and what changes should be made.

Of course, the job of a test driver is about much more than simply drive cars and determine where improvements should be made. Rimac says it helps to come from an engineering background so you can talk to engineers in technical terms about the specifics and communicate with them in their language to say what changes are needed.

Needless to say, you also need a very good understanding of how a car actually works in order to know what will make it better.
