Having detailed the U.S.-spec RS7 Sportback three months ago, Audi has now launched the official online configurator of the premium sports saloon.

Available from $114,000, the super sedan is offered as standard with 21-inch wheels, sports seats, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, adaptive air suspension, dynamic all-wheel steering and quattro all-wheel drive.

Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 592 HP (600 PS / 441 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It enables a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed that’s electronically limited to 174 mph (280 km/h).

Nardo Gray is the only color offered as standard, as for the Florett Silver, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Tango Red or Daytona Pearl metallic paint finishes you will have to pay an extra $595. The Sebring Black Crystal costs $1,075 and the Audi Exclusive colors will set you back $3,900. The 22-inch wheels are a $1,500 option, while the Black Optic and Carbon Optic packages cost $2,750 and $6,650 respectively.

Another $1,500 will be withdrawn from your bank account if you want to spec the RS7 Sportback with the Individual Contour Seating package, and the Carbon Twill structure inlays add another $500.

Unless money is not an issue, you may want to go easy on the optional packages and accessories, as our well-specified model ended up costing $152,445, with $37,450 worth of options that would otherwise get you a brand new Q3 crossover or an A3 Sedan. For reference, the 550 HP Porsche Panamera Turbo, which does the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and tops out at 190 mph (306 km/h), has an MSRP of $153,000.
