Do you have a thing for classic Aston Martins and enough money in the bank to support your passion? In that case, you may want to check out this V8 Volante, which used to be owned by David Beckham.

The retired soccer star, who played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and PSG, bought it back in 2003 and was constantly seen cruising the streets of London. He was so fond of it that he had it shipped to Spain when he was under contract with Real Madrid.

Made in 1988 and finished in deep red, the classic Aston boasts a cream leather interior, burr walnut and a 423 horsepower V8 that rocketed it to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h). It features the X Pack engine, which means more power added to the mill, as well as a louder exhaust system.

Beckham held on to the gorgeous V8 Volante, which is believed to be one of just 78 similar cars, for 15 years, before parting ways with it in 2018. It was properly maintained since new and was even displayed at the 2020 London Classic Car Show in February, before the lockdown.

Now, as we already said, the vehicle is for sale by Aston Martin Works on AutoTrader and will set its future owner back a hefty £445,000 ($548,808). Now that’s one steep sticker price, but for the right car collector it might be well worth it given the make, model, overall condition, celebrity ties and the fact that it’s offered with a 12-month classic car warranty.
